Resolution approving the Final Payment for Contract 25-09, 2025 Sanitary Sewer Improvements, to Globe Contractors Inc. in the amount of $28,391.00

WHEREAS, Globe Contractors Inc. completed the 2025 Sanitary Sewer Improvements under Contract 25-09; and
WHEREAS, the work took place on Diane Drive and Discovery Parkway; and
WHEREAS, the final contract value is $633,015.00, which is $225.00 less than the original base bid of $633,240.00; and
WHEREAS, the remaining balance due to the contractor is $28,391.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin that the work under Contract 25-09 is hereby accepted and that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to draw and sign a City order in the amount of $28,391.00 payable to Globe Contractors Inc. as final payment under said contract, upon receipt of waivers of lien and for labor and materials furnished under said contract.
