Resolution waiving the competitive bidding process and approving a one-year agreement with Sharp Performance in an amount not to exceed $30,000

WHEREAS, the Wauwatosa Fire Department seeks to provide evidence-based mental wellness, resilience, and performance coaching resources for firefighters; and
WHEREAS, Sharp Performance provides a comprehensive cognitive performance coaching platform that integrates coaching, training, and customized resource management within a single mobile application; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has identified Sharp Performance as the only commercially available platform known to provide these services in a unified solution; and
WHEREAS, the proposed one-year agreement would provide access for all Wauwatosa Fire Department members and their spouses at a cost not to exceed $30,000; and
WHEREAS, funding for the agreement is available through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services EMS Funding Assistance Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that the competitive bidding process is hereby waived and the appropriate City officials are authorized to execute a one-year agreement with Sharp Performance in an amount not to exceed $30,000, and any other documents necessary to implement the agreement.
