Resolution approving a grade crossing surface construction and maintenance agreement with Soo Line Railroad Company, d/b/a CPKC, at N. 115th Street north of Underwood Parkway, related to Contract 25-07 Watertown Plank Road & N. 115th Street Utilities & Paving

WHEREAS, Contract 25-07, Watertown Plank Road and N. 115th Street Utilities & Paving, includes construction of a multi-use path along the east side of N. 115th Street and a sidewalk along the west side of N. 115th Street; and
WHEREAS, the multi-use path, sidewalk, and roadway crossing at N. 115th Street north of Underwood Parkway require railroad crossing surface work to be performed by Soo Line Railroad Company, d/b/a CPKC; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Grade Crossing Surface Construction and Maintenance Agreement provides for construction of the crossing surfaces, related maintenance responsibilities, and an easement for the new multi-use path crossing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that the proper City officials are hereby authorized to enter into a Grade Crossing Surface Construction and Maintenance Agreement with Soo Line Railroad Company, d/b/a CPKC, for the railroad crossing at N. 115th Street north of Underwood Parkway related to Contract 25-07, Watertown Plank Road and N. 115th Street Utilities & Paving.
