A. Issue
Consideration of request by the Engineering Division for approval of plans and specifications for Contract 26-26 / Project 6626 / Fire Stations Pavement Replacement
B. Background/Options
Engineering has prepared the attached plans and specifications for this Fire Stations Pavement Replacement projects at two fire station locations. The work is planned for the 2026 construction season.
The work at Fire Station 51 (1601 Underwood Ave) includes replacement of a new storm sewer catch basin, as well as asphalt paving and curb and gutter reconstruction.
The work at Fire Station 53 (10525 Watertown Plank Dr) includes replacement of a new storm sewer catch basin, storm sewer lining of one pipe segment, chimney repair at a storm sewer manhole, ADA curb ramp construction, asphalt and concrete paving, and curb and gutter reconstruction.

Project 6626 has been included in the 2026-2030 Capital Budget.
E. Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of the plans and specifications and authorization be granted to the City Clerk to advertise for bids on Contract 26-26, Project 6626, Fire Stations Pavement Replacement.
