Request for award of contract 24-19 2024 Sidewalk Repair Program
B. Background/Options
The 2024 sidewalk repair area, in general, is largely bounded by IH 94 to the south, 124th St to the west, Hampton Ave to the north and Mayfair Rd/STH 100 to the east. North of Capitol Dr, the project area extends east to 92nd St. The work includes a sidewalk extension on Potter Road.
We have examined the 3 bids submitted for Contract 24-19 / Project 2024, Sidewalk Repair Program on Thursday, January 11th, 2024. The contract consists of concrete walks, ADA curb ramps and drive approaches, including concrete curb and gutter and pavement replacement. The bids received are as follows:

D. Fiscal Impact
This project is a part of the 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program and within budget.
E. Recommendation
We recommend the award be made to State Contractors, Inc. and for their bid price of $780,921.03, this being the lowest and best bid.
