21-47/48 Zoo Interchange North Leg (WisDOT Project)
• Work and lane closures continue at the freeway overpasses at North Avenue and Mayfair Road to accommodate work overhead on the freeway structures.
• Overnight work is continuing over the next week for demolition of the I-41 SB structures over North Avenue.
22-05 - 103rd St. Storm Sewer Relay
• Contractor is installing the box culvert. They anticipate clearing the area within the easement between North Avenue and Beverly St. the end of the week of April 10th.
• The contractor anticipates shifting to other work on-site while waiting for the 5x6 box to be delivered.
22-08 - N 68th St.
• Electrical work is complete with the new signals online.
• Concrete work is complete with a punch list walk to follow in the near future.
• Street lighting work is being coordinated with WE Energies for the cabinet replacement around 66th & Cedar.
22-60 - DPW Garage Floor Drain Reconstruction
• The resinous flooring in the wash bay is scheduled for installation in April 17th, 2023 and is expected to take about 1 week.
Project 1107 - North Avenue Reconstruction
• The information meeting and precon meeting were held the week of the 10th.
• Traffic was expected to be shifted to allow the pre-stage work to start on Friday, 4/14.
• The contractor has started preliminary work and is expecting to get a full notice to proceed from the Department early the week of the 17th.
• The contractor expected to shift all traffic to the north half of the North Avenue early the week of April 24th.
23-19 - 2023 Sidewalk Program
• Remarking of sidewalk prior to letters to residents going out is on-going.
• A preconstruction meeting was held on 3/20. Work is expected to start on the program in late April or early May.
