A. Issue
Peter Sohnle from Idyll Coffee Roasters has applied for a street vendor permit for a market event on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM in the Idyll Coffee parking lot.
Various vendors selling crafts, jewelry, art, and more will be present at the market. The full application, including a map of the event, is included in the agenda packet.
B. Department Reviews
The Engineering and Police Departments have reviewed the application and recommend approval.
Engineering and Police noted that the alley north of the Idyll Coffee parking lot must remain open for ingress and egress during the event, as well as the public sidewalk on the east side of 64th Street. These requirements have been communicated to the applicant.
C. Recommendation
I recommend the Board of Public Works approve the request for a street vendor permit by Idyll Coffee for a market event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
