Resolution approving Amendment Number 1 of the State Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the North Avenue reconstruction project between 95^th Street and Wauwatosa Avenue (CIP Project #1127)

WHEREAS, under R-23-27, the Common Council approved a State Municipal Agreement (SMA) with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT), for the reconstruction of North Avenue from 95^th Street to 73^rd Street;

WHEREAS, at the time of the Common Council approval, the DOT had only awarded partial funding and the remainder of funding needed fin the next Surface Transportation Program (STP) cycle and since then, the city applied for funding and it was approved;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that the proper city officials be authorized to enter into the State Municipal Agreement that was more thoroughly outlined in the October 21Financial Affairs Committee Meeting.
