Resolution designating the City’s Official Newspaper for the purposes of complying with Chapter 985 of the Wisconsin Statutes

WHEREAS the City of Wauwatosa is required to designate an official newspaper in accordance with Section 985.06 of the Wisconsin Statutes; and
WHEREAS the City published a notice soliciting bids from eligible newspapers for designation as the City’s official newspaper for the ensuing year, and the bid submission period closed on June 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS the City received one bid from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel/North NOW; and
WHEREAS the North NOW meets the eligibility requirements of Section 985.03 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that North NOW be designated as the City’s official newspaper for the publication of Common Council proceedings, legal notices, and other required publications for the ensuing year.
