A. Issue
Nordstrom, Inc., d/b/a Nordstrom Marketplace Café, has applied for a new retail Class “B” Beer and Reserve “Class B” Liquor license for the 2025-2026 license period for the premises located at 2424 N. Mayfair Road.
B. Background/Options
Nordstrom, Inc. intends to reopen the Nordstrom Marketplace Café located inside the Nordstrom retail store within Mayfair Mall. The restaurant will be located within the store and will serve food and alcoholic beverages for guests to consume throughout the property. Nordstrom intends to operate the restaurant from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday. More information can be found in the application materials included in the agenda packet.
Background checks were conducted on the Agent, Veronica Jenquine, and six corporate officers of Nordstrom, Inc. No violations substantially related to licensing activities were found. The Agent meets all other qualifications of Wis. Stat. Ch. 125.
The City currently has three available Reserve “Class B” Liquor licenses.

D. Recommendation
I recommend the Common Council grant a new Class “B” Beer and Reserve “Class B” Liquor license to Nordstrom, Inc., d/b/a Nordstrom Marketplace Café, for the period ending June 30, 2026, for the premises located at 2424 N. Mayfair Road, with Veronica Jenquine as the appointed agent.
