Resolution approving a 2025 property tax refund of $507.27 for 8200 Rockway Place

WHEREAS, John and Barbara Lamb own the property located at 8200 Rockway Place, Parcel No. 407-0011-000; and
WHEREAS, the 2025 assessment of the property was corrected under Wis. Stat. § 70.43, reducing the assessed value from $605,700 to $577,200; and
WHEREAS, the correction results in a property tax overpayment of $507.27; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends a refund under Wis. Stat. §§ 70.43 and 74.41.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that a property tax refund in the amount of $507.27 is hereby approved for John and Barbara Lamb for the property located at 8200 Rockway Place, Parcel No. 407-0011-000.
