A. Issue
The Wauwatosa Village Business Improvement District (BID) has applied for a special event permit for a series of Sip Thursday events on October 29, November 5, 12, and 19, and December 10 and 17, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will take place on State Street, Harwood Avenue, and Underwood Avenue in the Wauwatosa Village. The Village BID is also requesting approval of a Temporary Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (TDORA) in conjunction with this event.
B. Event Details
Sip Thursdays will be a shopping event to welcome customers to the Wauwatosa Village. The Village BID is requesting approval of a TDORA for the event. The TDORA will allow patrons to purchase an alcoholic beverage in a to-go container with a TDORA sticker, and carry that beverage throughout the boundaries of the Village TDORA.
