A.                     Issue

Consideration of Award of Contract 26-01, Flood Damage Maintenance Repairs to All-Ways Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $223,362.00.

 

 

B.                     Background/Options 

This contract is for maintenance and flood repair at 5 locations throughout the City of Wauwatosa in response to the August 9-10, 2025 flood event. Work includes pavement restoration, bridge repairs, and storm sewer repairs. Four qualified bidders submitted proposals.

D.                     Fiscal Impact

The following is a breakdown of funding sources for the contract amount of $223,362.00:

 

Hart Park 72nd St. Pavement Repairs: $133,946.00 - funds donated to the City for flood recovery at Hart Park. A level III fund transfer is required to establish expenditure authority offset by donation revenue.

 

Storm sewer repairs: $43,328.00 - CIP project 4026, Storm Sewer Spot Improvements.

 

Roadway and bridge repairs: $46,088 - CIP project 2402, Construct Fiber Optic Connections Between Critical City Facilities or a project yet to be identified through budget surplus funds.

 

 

E.                     Recommendation

As the lowest priced, qualified bidder, staff recommends award of Contract 26-01, Flood Damage Repairs to All-Ways Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $223,362.00 and approval of a Level III Fund Transfer.
