Resolution approving the Relocation Order and Acquisition Plat for the reconstruction of W. North Avenue from Met to Wee Lane to Wauwatosa Avenue, including two bridge replacements over the Menomonee River (CIP Projects #2301 & #1127)

RELOCATION ORDER OF THE CITY OF WAUWATOSA, MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WISCONSIN, by its Common Council and for its Relocation Order hereby resolves as follows:
1. That this Resolution is a Relocation Order in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes, Subsection
32.05(1), for the purpose of the within-described public improvement project and it is also a
determination of necessity for that project in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes, Subsection
32.07(2);
2. That the City of Wauwatosa hereby determines that it is necessary and a public purpose to
improve the roadway facilities along W. North Avenue from Met to Wee Ln to Rozmus Way;
3. That the legal description of said properties necessary for the improvement of roadway facilities labeled as Plat of Right of Way, which is attached to this Relocation Order and incorporated herein;
4. That the area of land required to carry out said improvements to roadway facilities being
constructed by the City of Wauwatosa in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation consists of 128 parcels that require Temporary Limited Easements, Permanent Limited Easements, Fee, Release of Rights (Utilities) and were outlined during the Board of Public Works meeting on May 13, 2026 and as set forth in the Plat of Right of Way which is attached to this Relocation Order and is incorporated herein;
5. That this relocation order will allow the Early Acquisition for all parcels shown on the plat, except the following 17 parcels, which are not subject to early acquisition under this Relocation Order: Parcels: 2, 16, 24, 25, 32, 33, 34, 40, 43, 44, 45, 46, 51, 75, 76, 79, and 93.
