Milwaukee General Construction Company has completed the work of the 2023 Sidewalk Repair Program project and work incidental thereto under Contract 23-19 / Project 2023. The work took place in various predetermined locations in Wauwatosa.
The final contract value due to the contractor is $1,051,384.27. The contract award amount was $953,572.05. The final amount due the contractor is $162,616.45. The final contract value was $97,812.22. Additional areas of replacement consistent with the sidewalk repair guidelines were identified after initial review when the final review was completed immediately prior to work starting. This resulted in a new increase in the project cost as noted above. Change Order #1 also added cost and was done to replace a deteriorated electrical crossing for the existing street lighting system.
I hereby certify that the work on Contract 23-19 / Project 2023 was completed in a manner satisfactory to the City of Wauwatosa and recommend acceptance of the same by the Board of Public Works.
