Resolution approving a parking agreement for the use of twenty parking stalls in the City Hall/Library parking lot

WHEREAS, redevelopment is being planned for the property located at the southeast corner of North Avenue and Wauwatosa Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the future user of the site has requested that employees of the future business be allowed to park in the City Hall/Library parking lot; and
WHEREAS, the proposed parking agreement would formalize that arrangement, provide for non-dedicated use of 20 parking stalls, and require annual rent of $10,000.00 to the City once parking commences; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney’s Office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa approves the parking agreement for use of 20 parking stalls at the City Hall/Library parking lot on the terms presented to the Board of Public Works, and authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute the agreement in substantially the same form.
