Approval of Final Payment for Contract 26-01 Flood Damage Maintenance Repairs

All-Ways Contractors, Inc. has completed the work for the Flood damage maintenance repairs under Contract 26-01/Project Number 326000005. The work took place on Hart Park 72nd St., N 70th St Bridge, North Ave & 103rd St., 104th & Concordia, and 107th and Vliet.
The final contract value is $ 207,540.91. The original base bid was $ 232,868.00. The final amount due to the contractor is $41,102.6
The final contract value is less than the original bid amount by $25,327.09 due to a reduction in fill material. Once the parking lot pavement was removed, it was determined that some of the existing fill beneath the pavement was still intact and did not require the extent of fill and repair that was originally anticipated.
I hereby certify that the work on Contract 26-01/Project Number 326000005 was completed in a manner satisfactory to the City of Wauwatosa and recommend acceptance of the same by the Board of Public Works.
