Resolution approving a 2025 property tax refund of $594.49 for 2424 N. 81st Street
body
WHEREAS, the 2025 assessment for the property located at 2424 N. 81st Street (Parcel No. 332-0263-000) was incorrectly updated, resulting in an overvaluation of the property; and
WHEREAS, the Assessor’s Office discovered the error in 2026 and corrected the 2025 assessment pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 70.43, reducing the assessment from $608,000 to $575,300; and
WHEREAS, the correction resulted in an overpayment of 2025 property taxes in the amount of $594.49.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that a property tax refund in the amount of $594.49 be approved and paid to Tracy Eccles for the property located at 2424 N. 81st Street (Parcel No. 332-0263-000), pursuant to Wis. Stat. §§ 70.43 and 74.41.
