WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering is seeking to execute a funding agreement with Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District (MMSD) for Sanitary Sewer Lateral Relay work as a part of the Private Property Infiltration and Inflow Reduction Program (PPI/I).
WHEREAS, the City of Wauwatosa invests significant funds in sewer sheds within the City to reduce clear water entry into the sanitary sewer system and as part of the 2025 paving project, there would be storm sewer upgrades and replacements of sanitary sewer main, manholes, laterals and watermains;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that approval be granted for the Department of Engineering to execute the Funding Agreement M10005WA04 in the amount of $296,700.
