Resolution awarding Contract 26-41 / Project 4026, Storm Sewer Spot Improvements, to Globe Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $187,275.00 and approving a Level III fund transfer in the amount of $38,115

WHEREAS, the City solicited bids for Contract 26-41 / Project 4026, Storm Sewer Spot Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the project consists of targeted storm sewer repairs at Harmonee Avenue at Harwood Avenue, Wilson Boulevard at 93rd Street, and the 2500 block of North 100th Street during the 2026 construction season; and
WHEREAS, one bid was received and opened on July 15, 2026, as follows:
• Globe Contractors, Inc. - $187,275.00; and
WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Globe Contractors, Inc. is the lowest and best bid; and
WHEREAS, the current Capital Improvements Program budget for this project is $149,160 and a Level III fund transfer of $38,115 is needed to fund the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that Contract 26-41 / Project 4026, Storm Sewer Spot Improvements, is hereby awarded to Globe Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $187,275.00, and that a Level III fund transfer of $38,115 is hereby approved for the purpose of funding this contract.
