A. Issue
Request by the Engineering Division for approval of plans and specifications for Contract 25-08 / Project 1024, 2025 Center Street Improvements. Project limits are on Center Street from 113th Street to N. 118th Street.
B. Background/Options
Engineering has prepared the attached plans and specifications for water main, storm sewer, roadway and pedestrian facilities, and communications within the project limits. The project will complete the road work that was associated with the underground utility installations in the summer of 2024. The western driveway entrance to the schools will be realigned to match into the intersection with N. 116th Street. The work is planned for the 2025 construction season.

Priority 3: Infrastructure, Goal 1 - Optimize infrastructure to handle 100-year storm events.

D. Fiscal Impact
The project is included in the approved 2025-2029 Capital Budget.
E. Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of the approval of plans and specifications for Contract 25-08 / Project 1024, 2025 Center Street Improvements.
