Resolution approving a sign encroachment at 6517 W. North Avenue for Jkayla Hodges of Sign Effectz, Inc.

WHEREAS, an application has been made to the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa by Jkayla Hodges of Sign Effectz Inc. for an encroachment within the public right-of-way at 6517 W. North Avenue for a sign attached to the building and projecting into the right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the proposed sign will project 30 inches into the public right-of-way and will maintain a clearance of 9 feet, 10 inches above the sidewalk surface; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval subject to execution of a hold harmless agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa hereby approves the requested sign encroachment within the public right-of-way at 6517 W. North Avenue, subject to the applicant executing a hold harmless/encroachment agreement in favor of the City prior to issuance of a permanent sign permit.
