Resolution approving a sign encroachment request at 7603 W. State Street for Jake Schindler of Green Hill Metal Werks, LLC

WHEREAS, an application has been made to the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa (hereinafter “City”) by Jake Schindler of Green Hill Metal Werks, LLC, for the property at 7603 W. State Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, (hereinafter “the Applicant”) to encroach upon City property for a building-mounted sign projecting into the public right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the proposed sign will project 48 inches into the right-of-way and provide a bottom clearance of 100 inches above the sidewalk surface; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa is willing to grant to said Applicant a privilege for the aforesaid encroachment subject to execution of a hold harmless/encroachment agreement with the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the requested sign encroachment within the City right-of-way at 7603 W. State Street is hereby approved, subject to the Applicant executing a hold harmless/encroachment agreement in favor of the City prior to issuance of final building occupancy.
