State Contractors, Inc. has completed the work of the N. 68th Street Reconstruction project and work incidental thereto under Contract 21-08 / Project 1021. The work took place on N. 68th Street between Milwaukee Avenue and W State Street.
The final contract value due to the contractor is $1,124,261.90. The contract award amount was $1,188,488.95. The final amount due the contractor is $88,340.12. There were three change orders on the contract. Change Order #1 addressed a water service repair, a sewer liner size change due to field conditions, temporary pavement markings during construction, and the addition of conduit for street light crossings for a net increase in the contract of $18,216.40. Change Order #2 addressed a sanitary lateral repair and a change in scope for air valve abandonment for a net increase in the contract of $16,435.00. Change Order #3 addressed a sanitary lateral reconnect and public side replacement of a water service for a net increase in the contract of $23,418.50.
I hereby certify that the work on Contract 21-08 / Project 1021 was completed in a manner satisfactory to the City of Wauwatosa and recommend acceptance of the same by the Board of Public Works.
