Jeff Roznowski, Chairperson, TosaGreen Summit

On behalf of the Tosa Green Summit and Wauwatosa CrimeStoppers, I would like to request the use of a portion of the City Hall and Public Works Parking Lots on the following dates, for the purpose of recycling collections as part of the 16th  annual Tosa Green Summit:

• Public Works Parking Lot, Saturday September 26th, 2026, from 8 am to 2 pm for MMSD’s Household Hazardous Waste collection.

• City Hall Parking Lot, Saturday September 19th, 2026, from 9 am to Noon for Wauwatosa Crimestoppers annual Shred It event and collections for medicine, textiles, bikes, scrap metal,

toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes and Tosa Cares.

Two maps depicting the requested areas and traffic flow are attached.

Also, on September 19th, we plan to have exhibits in the lower civic center, which I have reserved with the Public Works Department.

As in the past two years, we are continuing with two dates and two locations to improve the traffic flow and eliminate traffic backups. This has worked extremely well for all Stakeholders. Volumes have been consistent with prior years and maximum wait times have been 10 minutes. Regular Drop Off Center collection will continue to occur on September 26th from 7:30 am to 4 pm. We will have volunteers directing traffic to and from 113th Street.

For the other recycling collections at City Hall on September 19th, traffic has always run smoothly, with minimal backups (maximum of 5 minutes) under this current format, but we will continue to have volunteers guiding traffic.
