Resolution approving 2025 capital project carryovers and amending the 2026 budget in the amount of $22,683,209

WHEREAS, carryovers represent the transfer of spending authority from one fiscal year to the next for capital projects not completed within the original budget year; and
WHEREAS, staff has recommended carryover of prior year unspent funds for previously approved capital projects in order to complete those projects in 2026; and
WHEREAS, no new projects are proposed to be funded through these carryovers; and
WHEREAS, the recommended 2025 capital project carryovers total $22,683,209;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Wauwatosa that the 2026 Budget is hereby amended to increase capital project expenditure authority by up to $22,683,209 to reflect 2025 capital project carryovers for previously approved projects, as shown in Exhibit 1.
